We provide workforce redevelopment through paid training and employment in property maintenance, landscaping, hardscaping, snow removal, and many commercial / residential repair and renovation trades for at-risk populations, returning citizens, individuals recovering from a past of substance abuse, including our homeless populations.
We offer supportive services to help marginalized individuals through “Second Chance” opportunities. Our program is tailored to meet client needs by professionals in the field in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere conducive for the long term growth and development of our participants.
Second Chance Employment
The team at Project Phoenix Ohio Inc includes persons in long term recovery from substance use and mental health, have experienced hardships such as unemployment, homelessness, stigma in the community and most have criminal justice histories. These are some of the many common barriers our participants face on a daily basis. We believe our team is uniquely situated to guide, mentor, train, and employ these individuals with meaningful gainful employment while reducing barriers they face in the community to help them reach long term success.
Project Phoenix Ohio Inc seeks and develops partnerships with private individuals, companies, businesses, and non-profit organizations to provide wrap-around services and paid work opportunities for our clients. We aim to reduce generational poverty, crime, violence, homelessness, addiction, and stigma in our communities.

We offer mentorship, life skills development, and provide peer run support services to remove barriers, reduce stigma, and overcome challenges to help participants realize their strengths, restore confidence, and reach their full potential.

We create networks of peers, individuals, and businesses to build meaningful relationships that benefit our clients, and the community. We provide outreach and service opportunities as well as general contracting to our area.
Some participants are new to the workforce or have been unemployed for an extensive amount of time. We provide hands-on experience, while education and training individuals for opportunities to make an honest wage and excel in work related activities. Participants can learn respect, dependability, technical skills, and what it takes to advance in the workforce.
